Infant Kidnapped Near Tatanagar Station

Jamshedpur Mother’s Plight: 9-Month-Old Daughter Kidnapped

In a shocking incident in Jamshedpur, a 9-month-old girl was kidnapped while sleeping with her mother near Tatanagar station.

JAMSHEDPUR – The city of Jamshedpur is reeling from a disturbing trend of child kidnappings, with the latest case involving a nine-month-old girl.

This distressing incident took place late on Thursday night, near Tatanagar railway station.

The girl’s mother, who ekes out a living by begging in the vicinity of the station, discovered her daughter missing upon waking up.

Despite the alarming situation, no formal complaint has been lodged with the local police.

The Bagbera police, informed on Friday, are scrutinizing CCTV footage from the area to glean any clues.

In a similar occurrence on September 3, 2022, a seven-month-old baby was abducted near the station’s second entry gate, an unresolved case despite available CCTV evidence.

This pattern of child abductions at Tatanagar station is a growing concern, yet solutions remain elusive.

The plight of the girl’s mother, now separated from her child and devoid of resources, highlights the vulnerability of the impoverished in such dire situations.
