Chief Trainer Advocates for Decentralized Economy at Prout Utility Training Camp
Proutist Universal’s UTC Emphasizes the Need for Decentralized Economic Systems
JAMSHEDPUR – At the five-day Utility Training Camp (UTC) organized by Proutist Universal, Chief Trainer Acharya Shivanand Dani led a seminar titled "Decentralized Economy is the Only Solution."
He critiqued the current global dominance of centralized economic systems.
According to Acharya Dani, these systems favor specific individuals or parties and are profit-driven.
He highlighted the drawbacks of such economies, including the displacement of people for work.
Dani emphasized the exploitation by capitalists who control local resources.
In these systems, resources are not used or distributed efficiently, leading to economic exploitation.
Acharya Dani pointed out the lack of clear policies for agriculture, industry, and trade.
He cited the high rates of farmer suicides due to the neglect of agriculture as an industry.
The seminar proposed the adoption of a decentralized economy as envisioned by Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, founder of “Prout.”
In a decentralized economy, local resources are managed by local socio-economic units.
Production should be based on consumption needs, not profit.
Co-operative societies were suggested to employ locals in local industries.
Acharya Dani used various examples to illustrate his points.
He stressed the need to understand and implement decentralized economic principles to create an exploitation-free society.
