Several female laborers injured in a vehicle collision in Chakradharpur, two referred to Sadar Hospital.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a distressing incident in Chakradharpur, a collision between a tempo and a Toto resulted in injuries to more than half a dozen female laborers. Two of the injured were in critical condition and were referred to Sadar Hospital in Chaibasa, while the others received medical attention at the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Chakradharpur. The accident occurred during their commute from Baidih to Chakradharpur.
The laborers involved in the incident attributed the cause to the Toto driver.
Reports indicate that one female laborer suffered a broken leg, and another sustained a hand injury.
Labor leader and social activist Sikandar Jamunda played a crucial role in ensuring the injured received prompt medical treatment at the local Oxford Hospital.
The two laborers with serious injuries were subsequently transferred to Sadar Hospital for further care.
