Golmuri’s Cable Cricket Ground to Host Bhojpuri Cricket League Matches

The fifth season of the Bhojpuri Cricket League is set to start on December 19, with exciting cricket action and attractive prizes.

JAMSHEDPUR – The much-anticipated fifth season of the Bhojpuri Cricket League will commence on December 19th, offering a significant platform for local cricket talents.

The matches of this popular league will be held at the Cable Cricket Ground in Golmuri.

This season’s format includes all knockout matches being played in daylight.

Teams will vie for substantial rewards, with the winning team set to receive Rs 1 lakh in prize money along with a trophy.

The runner-up will not leave empty-handed, securing Rs 50 thousand and a trophy.

In addition to the team prizes, individual players will also be recognized.

The Man of the Tournament will be awarded a sports bicycle, while the best player in the final match will receive sports shoes.

Furthermore, the best batsman and bowler of the tournament will receive incentive prizes.

Appu Tiwari, the organizer of the Bhojpuri Cricket League and provincial president of Bhojpuri Nav Chetna Manch, highlighted the tournament’s commitment to nurturing local cricket talent and fostering competitive spirit.

He also mentioned that this year’s tournament is dedicated to the late father of Bhojpuri literature, Bhikhari Thakur, marking his birth anniversary.

Teams interested in participating have until December 15th to register, with an entry fee set at Rs 5001.

Tiwari also announced that all matches will be broadcast live on a dedicated YouTube channel, ensuring fans can catch all the action.
