Jharkhand Schools Gear Up for Class 8 Board and Merit Exams
Online Application for Class 8 Board and CM Merit Scholarship Exams Begin
Jharkhand Academic Council launches online application for Class 8 Board Exam and CM Merit Scholarship Exam, with key deadlines and eligibility criteria.
RANCHI – The Jharkhand Academic Council has taken significant strides in streamlining the application process for the Class 8 Board Examination and the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship Examination for 2024.
In an unprecedented move, the Council has integrated the application process for both exams, enabling students to apply for the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship Examination alongside their Class 8 Board Examination application.
This integration marks a departure from previous years, where separate portals were used for each examination.
Schools recognized by the District Education Officer are entrusted with the responsibility of submitting online applications for their eligible students.
These schools must adhere to the criteria set by the Council and use the unique User ID and Password provided to them by the Office of the District Education Officer.
The District Education Officers play a pivotal role in this process, ensuring the dissemination of User IDs and Passwords to qualified schools and overseeing the submission of applications.
The Council has established a window from November 23 to December 23, 2023, for schools to receive approval through the District Education Officer.
Following this, the period for submitting online applications for the examinations is set from November 28 to December 28, 2023.
While the exact schedule for the examinations will be announced later, the Council has made all pertinent instructions and guidelines available on their official website.
The notice issued by the Jharkhand Academic Council is aimed at informing candidates, parents, school principals, and officials about these new developments and ensuring timely submission of applications.
