East Singhbhum’s Kho Kho Association Charts Future in Key Meeting
Jamshedpur’s Kho Kho scene sees new developments as the East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association, under Victor Vijay Samad, plans district-level events and strengthens the sport.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand State Kho Kho Association, led by District Secretary Victor Vijay Samad, convened a crucial meeting of the East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association today at 12:30 pm.
Held at the Scout and Guide auditorium in Sakchi, Jamshedpur, the gathering was presided over by Samad himself.
The Treasurer conducted the proceedings, while Dobo Chakia delivered the vote of thanks.
The assembly focused on bolstering the Kho Kho Association through various games and sports events across the district.
December 2023 is set for hosting district-level competitions for under-18 boys and girls, including the selection of the district team.
Details on the date, place, and venue of the competition will be finalized in the next meeting.
The transition of office-related documents from the former committee to the ad-hoc committee was also approved.
At the meeting’s outset, Jharkhand State Kho Kho Association General Secretary Santosh Kumar, along with Joint Secretary Deepak Dubey and Saroj Kumar, extended their congratulations to the new ad-hoc committee.
They pledged full support for the district’s development in Kho Kho.
The officials expressed their commitment to strengthening and expanding the district’s Kho Kho organization and enhancing the sports environment.
The event saw participation from various sports teachers, district officers, and members.
Notable attendees included Jagdish Sinku, Naresh Kumar, W Rahman, Pranav Naha, Raj Kumar Singh, Pratham Kumar, Usha Bakhala, Dobo Chakia, Shyam Kumar Sharma, Subol Chandra Chatterjee, Kajal, Anand Mahato, among others, who made significant contributions.
