JAMSHEDPUR – A late-night firing incident near Mahendra Pandey’s residence close to Lal Building under the jurisdiction of Bagbera police station has rattled the Jamshedpur community.

The bullet, fired during the altercation, struck the walls of Pandey’s house..

This incident, according to sources, stemmed from a monetary dispute.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

However, the attackers allegedly assaulted Mahendra Pandey’s son, Anjani.

Following the report of the crime, the police took swift action and detained five teenagers.

Investigations led to the recovery of the weapon used in the incident.

Mahendra Pandey disclosed that he had borrowed Rs 50,000 from an individual in Basti, who has since passed away.

The grandson of the deceased, purportedly involved in the incident, reportedly visited Pandey’s residence to collect the debt.

Pandey claimed that after a confrontation, the individual fled, issuing threats.

Subsequently, two individuals allegedly appeared and fired two shots outside his house before escaping.

Pandey further claimed his son was later found severely injured, having been assaulted by some youths.

He also alleged that these youths had threatened his son at gunpoint.

The Bagbera police are actively investigating the case and the various allegations made.

Five suspects have been rounded up in connection with this disturbing incident.
