Rural SP Rishabh Garg Uses Foot Patrol to Enhance Security and Curb Crime
Jamshedpur’s SSP Kishore Kaushal Had initiated a foot patrolling campaign to bolster security and deter criminal activities.
JAMSHEDPUR – Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal had earlier initiated a foot patrolling program aimed at curbing crime in the city.
This proactive measure was continued today by the Rural SP Rishabh Garg, who conducted a foot patrol in the weekly market of the Patamda police station area, accompanied by the Circle Inspector and Patmada Police Station Incharge.
The Rural SP emphasized that the initiative is designed to heighten the public’s sense of security and instill a sense of fear among anti-social elements.
Under this campaign, police station in-charges across the area will conduct foot patrols spanning one to one and a half kilometers, two to three times a week.
A one-month advance timetable for these patrols will be issued by the SP office, ensuring systematic and consistent implementation.
Currently, a total of 153 locations within the city have been identified for these foot patrols.
He said that this is a strategic approach that reflects the police department’s commitment to maintaining law and order and enhancing the safety of Jamshedpur’s residents.
