JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Mangal Kalindi has taken proactive steps to address the persistent problems of water logging and deteriorating roads at Jugsalai Under Bridge.
During his inspection, Kalindi emphasized the need for a permanent solution, focusing on drain cleaning and road construction.
He expressed concerns over the accidents caused by the waterlogged and dilapidated road, prioritizing immediate action.
Kalindi highlighted the collaborative efforts with Tata Steel UISL, Railways, and Jugsalai Municipal Council to develop a comprehensive plan.
The MLA’s visit involved thorough site evaluation and issuing necessary guidelines to the concerned department authorities.
He stressed the urgency of clearing large blocked drains to facilitate better water drainage and prevent future water logging.
Kalindi also addressed the removal of a demolished canopy by the Jugsalai Municipal Council, which was a part of the Durga Puja arrangements.
He urged Railways and company officials to devise a lasting solution to safeguard both commuters and local residents from the hazardous conditions.
