Jharkhand CM Soren Addresses Public Needs, Questions LPG Pricing Policies too
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren highlights successful public application processing in Pakur.
RANCHI – Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ program in Pakur, welcomed by village heads in traditional turbans.
The program has seen considerable success in Pakur, with about 2 lakh 12 thousand applications processed in its last two phases.
In its third phase, approximately 5500 applications were received from 08 Panchayats across 06 blocks of Pakur on November 24.
Later, Soren also took a dig on national issues, specifically targeting the central government’s policies on LPG cylinder pricing.
He referenced the Rajasthan Assembly elections, where the state government promised LPG cylinders at ₹500.
The BJP, in response, announced a reduction to ₹450 in Rajasthan to gain electoral favor.
Soren questioned why similar concessions were not extended nationwide, implying preferential treatment by the central government.
JMM leaders too have seconded his remarks indicate a broader critique of the Narendra Modi-led government’s approach to public welfare.
According to JMM leaders Soren’s participation in the Pakur event and his comments show his active engagement in both state and national issues.
They said that his stance on LPG pricing highlights ongoing political debates around equitable policies and regional disparities.
