Ranchi is bustling with preparations for the grand welcome of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is set to visit on the eve of Tribal Pride Day. A high-level meeting was convened at the BJP state office to coordinate the efforts. Key BJP figures, including State President Babulal Marandi, General Secretary (Organization) Karmveer Singh, and MP Sanjay Seth, among others, discussed the logistics and security measures for the PM’s visit.

RANCHI – A significant change in the Prime Minister’s schedule has him arriving in Ranchi a day earlier, on November 14th.

This visit is particularly symbolic as it coincides with Tribal Pride Day, celebrating the contributions of tribal communities in India.

PM Modi’s itinerary includes a roadshow from Ranchi Airport to Raj Bhavan, where he will stay overnight.

On November 15th, he will visit the ‘Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Garden cum Freedom Fighters Museum’ before heading to Khunti by helicopter.

In Khunti, the Prime Minister will attend an event at Birsa College grounds and visit Ulihatu, the birthplace of tribal icon Lord Birsa Munda.

He will launch the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and other initiatives, emphasizing tribal development and heritage.

BJP leaders said that the PM’s visit is not just ceremonial; it involves laying the foundation for various developmental schemes and addressing key issues impacting the tribal communities.

Security has been a primary concern, with a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand focusing on arrangements for the PM’s roadshow and stay.

Over 3000 security personnel are being deployed to ensure tight security throughout the visit.

BJP leaders said that this visit by PM Modi is seen as a significant gesture towards acknowledging and celebrating the rich cultural heritage and contributions of India’s tribal communities, while also focusing on their development and integration into the mainstream.
