In a tragic accident in Hurlung, Birsanagar, 29-year-old Diwakar Patro was fatally crushed under a tractor he was driving; police investigating the incident.
JAMSHEDPUR – A fatal accident occurred in Hurlung under Birsanagar police station, where Diwakar Patro, a 29-year-old tractor driver, lost his life after being crushed by the vehicle.
Diwakar was returning home with his nephew Rahul at the time of the incident.
While driving, he tragically fell from the tractor, resulting in the rear wheel running over his head.
Rahul, who was with him in the tractor, managed to control the vehicle, rushed home, and informed the family about the accident.
Diwakar’s elder brother, Raju, upon receiving the news, immediately reached the scene and alerted the police.
The police responded swiftly, taking Diwakar to MGM Hospital, where he was declared dead by the doctors after examination.
Diwakar leaves behind a six-month-old daughter, adding to the tragedy of the accident.
Raju revealed that Diwakar was driving a neighbor’s tractor at the time of the accident, a regular task in his line of work.
This incident has cast a shadow of mourning over the community in Hurlung, highlighting the dangers associated with operating heavy machinery.
