Locals Alert Police to Death Near Workers College
In Jamshedpur, a man’s body was found hanging by a towel on a riverbank, sparking a police investigation and alarm in the neighbourhood.
JAMSHEDPUR – A somber discovery was made near Workers College, under Mango police station’s purview.
Locals intending to bathe in the river on Saturday stumbled upon a body hanging from a tree.
The police were immediately informed and arrived swiftly to retrieve the body, sending it for post-mortem examination.
The deceased, yet to be identified, is believed to be around 45 years old. Eyewitnesses recounted the shocking moment they noticed the body while heading for their morning bath.
The man had apparently used a towel to hang himself.
The police are currently focused on identifying the deceased.
