Srinath University Students Shine, Securing Top Honors Across Multiple Categories

The Jharkhand Voter Awareness Contest, held across the state, witnessed an outpouring of creative submissions from contestants of all age groups, highlighting their commitment to promoting civic responsibility through art.

JAMSHEDPUR – Participants showcased their skills and ingenuity in various segments, including short films, reels, music videos, and posters, demonstrating the power of art in spreading voter awareness.

The contest received an overwhelming response, with 500 posters and 200 reels submitted for evaluation, reflecting the enthusiasm and dedication of the contestants.

Students from Srinath University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program emerged as standout performers, earning accolades across multiple categories.

Saurabh Pramanik’s exceptional artistic skills were recognized with the second prize in the poster making competition, a testament to his creativity and ability to convey powerful messages through visual art.

The university’s success continued in the wall painting competition, where the talented team of Soumitra Kumar Mahato, Rituraj, Kashish Mankar, and Lipika Bose secured the second prize, showcasing their collaborative efforts and artistic prowess.

Srinath University’s achievements reached new heights as they claimed the first prize in the institutional category for reel making, highlighting the institution’s commitment to promoting voter awareness through engaging and impactful digital content.

The Chancellor of Srinath University, Sukhdev Mahato, played a pivotal role in guiding the university to success, with both him and the students being honored by the CEO of Jharkhand Election Commission for their outstanding contributions to the cause of voter awareness.

The recognition bestowed upon Srinath University and its students underscores the importance of educational institutions in fostering civic engagement and encouraging active participation in the democratic process.
