CHAKRADHARPUR – BJP state president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi received a warm welcome in Chakradharpur, led by city president Rajesh Gupta.
The welcome occurred near the block office as Marandi was en route to Chaibasa.
Marandi paid homage to Lord Birsa Munda, garlanding his statue at the block office.
The event saw the participation of several prominent figures, including former MLA Shashi Bhushan Samad, Gurucharan Nayak, District President Satish Puri, and others.
The gathering focused on the Kamaldev Giri murder case, with Marandi pledging a CBI inquiry if BJP comes to power in Jharkhand.
At Shaundik Dharamshala, tributes were paid to the late Hindu youth leader Kamaldev Giri.
Marandi emphasized the need for justice and accountability in Giri’s murder.
He addressed the crowd’s demands for a CBI probe and vowed to ensure that all involved would be punished.
A memorial meeting is being organized across Chakradharpur wards since November 4th, marking a year since Giri’s murder.
Kamaldev Giri’s brother, Phoolandev Giri, highlighted the significance of the murder’s anniversary on November 12th.
A candle march and tribute activities are planned for November 12th and 13th.
The community has been urged to participate in remembrance of Kamaldev.
The event was attended by BJP leaders, local dignitaries, and a significant number of men and women, reflecting the community’s involvement and support.
