Mohun Bagan Edges Jamshedpur FC in Thrilling 3-2 Victory

Intense ISL clash sees Jamshedpur FC with 10 men, narrowly missing out to Mohun Bagan Super Giant

In a nail-biting encounter at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur FC, even with a man down, displayed a commendable spirit but succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to Mohun Bagan SG.

JAMSHEDPUR – The high-octane clash took an unexpected turn as Liston Colaco, with a stellar right-footed strike, gave The Mariners a crucial lead early in the second half.

Mohun Bagan SG eventually sealed the deal, with Kiyan Nassiri capitalizing on a fast break, finding the bottom right corner of the net.

However, not going down without a fight, Jamshedpur FC’s Steve Ambri showcased his brilliance, winning and converting a penalty to reduce the margin.

He nearly changed the outcome with another superb attempt, but was denied by the crossbar.

Earlier, the game kicked off with Mohammed Sanan K making a mark for Jamshedpur FC, scoring a long-range beauty, exploiting Subhasish Bose’s defending error.

Armando Sadiku soon equalized, displaying his skill, combining with Manvir Singh for Mohun Bagan SG.

The first half concluded with scores level, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next half’s proceedings.

Jamshedpur’s gameplay saw a setback when goalkeeper TP Rehenesh received a red card, making way for Vishal Yadav.

Mohun Bagan SG nervously navigated the final minutes to clinch a well-earned victory.

Jamshedpur FC will now regroup for their away game against FC Goa on November 27, followed by a home match hosting Odisha FC on December 1st.
