Police Conduct Flag March Ahead of Durga Puja in Jamshedpur
Two District Police Teams Patrol Sensitive Areas to Assure Residents of Safety Measures, RAF Joins
Amidst preparations for Durga Puja, two teams of district police in Jamshedpur march through sensitive areas to assure security. RAF personnel participate.
JAMSHEDPUR – To ensure law and order during the upcoming Durga Puja festivities, two different teams of the district police conducted a flag march on Sunday.
Both teams rigorously patrolled all sensitive zones in the city, promising residents top-notch security measures for the festive period.
The district police force was accompanied by Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel in this endeavor.
Assistant Superintendent of Police, along with other senior officers, led the first team through the eastern and southern sectors of the city.
The route taken by the first team included prominent locations such as Sakchi Eye Hospital, RD Tata Roundabout, and Baridih.
Meanwhile, the second team, led by Patmada DSP and Trainee Deputy Superintendent Rohit Kumar Sao, patrolled the north-western areas.
The second team started from Sakchi and passed through critical points like Mango Bus Stand, Azad Nagar Police Station, and Sonari Aerodrome Chowk.
The objective of this entire exercise was to instill confidence among the residents about the security measures in place.
Local police stations’ in-charges and PCR vehicles were also part of these flag marches.
Both teams included half a platoon of RAF, thus adding an extra layer of security during the exercise.
