One Arrested Over Fraud Allegations Involving Rs. 4 Lakhs in Sakchi

In the latest development, Sakchi police detain R K Prasad for allegedly defrauding Vibha Ghosh’s son out of Rs. 4 lakhs in New Baradwari.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a case that dates back to 2021, R Kumar Prasad, a resident of Kumhar Toli under the Sukhdev Nagar police station in Ranchi, has been detained over fraud allegations.

The police apprehended him on the basis of a court warrant, issued following a complaint lodged by Vibha Ghosh, a resident of New Baradwari, Sakchi.

Ghosh had filed a case at the Sitaramdera police station on January 21, 2021, claiming that Prasad had defrauded her son out of Rs. 4 lakhs.

Upon receipt of the warrant, the Sitaramdera police effected Prasad’s arrest on Tuesday and subsequently booked him into prison.

Further to this, it has been revealed that two additional individuals have also been implicated in this case.
