Uttar Pradesh Sangh Elections Conclude; New Team Emerges Victorious

Pro-change members clinch key positions as the Uttar Pradesh union elections wrap up, with Akhilesh Dubey winning the president’s post by a 25-vote margin.

JAMSHEDPUR – The much-awaited Uttar Pradesh union elections concluded on Sunday with an exciting turn of events.

Pro-change members proved their mettle by capturing critical positions.

In a notable victory, Girish Kumar Tripathi, from the same team, garnered 86 votes to claim the position of treasurer, leaving his rival, Devesh Awasthi, behind with 66 votes.

In an interesting twist, the union’s vice-presidential seats saw fresh faces with Omkarnath Singh and Rabi Kumar Dubey achieving success.

They managed to secure 78 and 93 votes respectively.

The general secretary seat witnessed a close battle with DP Shukla scraping by with a one-vote lead over Harishchandra Tiwari.

The highlight of the election, however, was the president’s contest.

Akhilesh Dubey triumphed over Vijay Singh Rana by a 25-vote margin, receiving 89 votes compared to Rana’s 64.

Election officials confirmed a turnout of 156 out of 184 eligible voters.

This latest round of elections was carried out peacefully and has introduced a new team at the helm of the Uttar Pradesh union.
