Return of Medal Winning Wushu Players Welcomed in Jamshedpur

Former MLA Kunal Sarangi welcomed returning medal winning wushu players with garlands and bouquets at Tatanagar railway station in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – On their return to Jamshedpur, five medal winning players from East Singhbhum, who had participated in the 19th Jharkhand State Junior Wushu Championship, were greeted with garlands and bouquets by former MLA Kunal Sarangi at Tatanagar railway station.

The medal winners, Yamuna Lohar (Gold Medal), Priyanka Modak (Silver Medal), Prapti Mahto (Bronze Medal), MD Tathir Ahmed (Bronze Medal), and Nazia Imam (Bronze Medal) enhanced the pride of East Singhbhum.

The team from East Singhbhum was led by District Secretary Gokul Anand Mishra and Joint Secretary Vijay Soy. Anand Kumar and Raju Karmakar also accompanied the team as coach and manager.

Many politicians and social workers, including BJP leader Neeraj Singh, social worker Santosh Gupta, and State Vice President of BJP SC Morcha Vimal Baitha, blessed the wushu players for better sports performance and a bright future.

They all congratulated the players on their impressive achievements.
