Students stage sit-in, demand early student union elections and better facilities in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – A one-day sit-in was held on the college campus, sponsored jointly by the Student Organisation and Jharkhand Chhatra Morcha.
The intention behind the demonstration was to draw the attention of the university to their demands, with a warning of a larger protest if their demands are not met promptly.
They have called upon the university to organize the pending student union elections as soon as possible.
Moreover, they are urging the enrollment of students who have been denied admission to graduate school.
They are demanding the relocation of the college to a different site and the establishment of basic facilities in the college without delay.
In addition, they have called for the execution of the graduation semester 5 old course examination.
The students seem determined in their resolve, prepared to take further action if their demands are not fulfilled in a timely manner.
