In a passenger-friendly move, the railways have announced that several trains will now stop at Barabhum, Santaldih, Jhalida, and Kotshila stations, providing added convenience to travellers.
JAMSHEDPUR – The railways have decided to provide stoppages for several trains at Barabhum, Santaldih, Jhalida, and Kotshila stations for passenger convenience. The new arrangements will be effective from mid-July until further notice.
The trains stopping at Barabhum will include the 12801 Puri-New Delhi Express and 12802 New Delhi-Puri Express, with journeys commencing from July 16, 2023.
At Santaldih, the 13301 Dhanbad-Tatanagar Express and 13302 Tatanagar-Dhanbad Express will stop, with journeys starting from July 17, 2023.
Jhalida station will see stoppages of the 13351 Dhanbad-Alappuzha Express and 13352 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express, with journeys commencing from July 17, 2023, and July 15, 2023, respectively.
Finally, at Kotshila station, the 13351 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express and 13352 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express will halt, with journeys starting from July 15, 2023.
This decision is expected to significantly enhance travel convenience for passengers using these routes.
