Puri-Anand Vihar Express Train Announced for Holi, Enhances Connectivity

The Railways introduces a special Puri-Anand Vihar-Puri express train via Chaibasa for the Holi festival, offering additional travel options starting March 9.

JAMSHEDPUR – To accommodate the surge in travel demand for the Holi festival, the Railways has launched a new express train service between Puri and Anand Vihar.

This festive special will traverse through Chaibasa.

It is scheduled for Saturdays from Puri, commencing March 9.

The return journey from Anand Vihar begins on Sundays, starting March 10.

The 18427 Puri Anand Vihar Weekly Express will leave Puri at 4:15 am.

It arrives at Anand Vihar at 1:38 pm the next day, with a Chaibasa stopover.

On its return, the 18428 departs Anand Vihar at 5:20 pm.

It reaches Puri at 11:55 pm the following day, stopping in Chaibasa at 1:23 pm.

This initiative aims to ease festive travel, linking significant locations on its route.
