JAMSHEDPUR – Chaos unfolded outside the Kerala Public School in Burmamines on Monday when a clash broke out between two groups of students.
The altercation resulted in injuries to students from both factions. The school administration is now considering taking action against three minor students involved in the assault.
According to reports, the fight involved a group of three brothers and another faction of students. The conflict between these two groups had been brewing for some time within the school premises. However, the situation escalated on Monday after the school holiday, leading to a physical confrontation near the school gate.
Parents of the students involved in the clash have filed a complaint with the school management, seeking appropriate action.
However, the school administration has declined to take a stance on the matter, leaving the parents dissatisfied.
In response, the parents from one group have issued a warning that if the school fails to address the issue and take action against the students from the opposing faction, they will report the incident to the police.
In light of the incident, the local police were informed, and a patrol team was dispatched to monitor the situation outside the school following the holiday.
Effective immediately, the police will continue to patrol the vicinity of the school during vacation periods, starting from Tuesday.
The school administration is facing criticism for its lack of prompt action in addressing the dispute and ensuring the safety of its students.
