SERAIKELA – Seraikela-Kharsawan district officials conducted detailed inspections of Chhath ghats on Saturday, reviewing cleanliness and security arrangements ahead of the festival.

Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat led the inspection team. In-charge SDO Nivedita Niyati accompanied him. Seraikela Nagar Panchayat Administrator Sameer Bodra joined the review.

City Manager Sumit Suman participated in the inspection. Moreover, Mahesh Jarika attended the site visits. Junior Engineer Vikky Gop was also present.

Seraikela Thana In-charge Vinay Kumar inspected the arrangements. Additionally, former Nagar Panchayat Vice President Manoj Kumar Chaudhary joined the team. The officials visited various Chhath ghats across Seraikela.

SP Lunayat announced completion of all preparations before the festival. He issued instructions to all concerned department personnel. Furthermore, preparations are proceeding on a war footing.

“Devotees will face no difficulties whatsoever,” SP Lunayat stated. The administration is ensuring both faith and security aspects. However, constant monitoring continues at all ghats.

Former Vice President Chaudhary expressed satisfaction with administrative preparations. He confirmed round-the-clock deployment with his entire team. On the other hand, he appealed to residents for cooperation.

“Contact us for any problem,” Chaudhary said. He assured prompt resolution of all issues. Meanwhile, residents received helpline contact information.

Seraikela Nagar Panchayat area has two major ghats. Kudarshai Nadi Ghat attracts large devotee crowds. Similarly, Jagannath Ghat sees massive turnout during Chhath.

The district administration coordinated with multiple departments. Sanitation teams received specific cleaning schedules. In addition, medical facilities are being arranged at ghats.

Lighting arrangements are being completed at both locations. Police deployment patterns have been finalized. Furthermore, parking areas have been designated near ghats.
