Salesmen Threatened with Death at Karnidih Petrol Pump

Four assailants robbed Rs 12,000 at gunpoint from salesmen at HLM petrol pump in Karnidih, Chandil, Seraikela district, fleeing after issuing death threats.

SERAIKELA – In a shocking incident, four assailants on a motorcycle looted Rs 12,000 at gunpoint from salesmen at HLM petrol pump in Karnidih, Chandil, Seraikela district.

Around 10 PM on Sunday night, while night salesmen were dispensing fuel, four youths arrived on a bike.

One of them had his face covered with a towel.

Two of the miscreants shoved the salesmen, while another brandished a pistol.

They demanded the salesmen hand over all the cash or face being shot.

The robbers seized Rs 12,000 from salesmen Sambhu Nath Mahato and Sagar Singh Sardar.

After committing the crime, the assailants fled, continuing to threaten the salesmen.

It is worth noting that a similar robbery incident had occurred previously at a petrol pump in the Chandil police station area.
