In response to the proposed site for a new health sub-centre in Madhavpur village under the Bodam block, villagers have submitted a memorandum to local officials including the village head, Block Development Officer, and Zonal Officer, pointing out the incorrect location selection.
JAMSHEDPUR – The residents of Madhavpur village, under Bodam block in East Singhbhum district, have raised concerns about the incorrect site selection for the proposed health sub-centre in their village.
According to the villagers, the new building was supposed to be constructed in Madhavpur village. However, instead, the structure is planned to be built near Raja Hata village, a separate locality.
The foundation stone for the same has already been laid by the MLA representative.
The villagers, protesting this decision, handed over a memorandum to the local rural block office, the village head, the Block Development Officer, and the Zonal Officer.
Through this memorandum, they drew the officials’ attention to the issue and demanded an urgent solution.
They argued that the health sub-centre should be located within the premises of Madhavpur village, as originally planned, to serve the local community better.
