RVS College of Engineering and Technology Signs MoU with UltraTech Cement

RVS College formalizes an MoU with UltraTech Cement, aiming to strengthen industry-academic collaboration.

RVS College of Engineering and Technology and UltraTech Cement have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation between the academic and industrial sectors.

JAMSHEDPUR – Today, RVS College of Engineering and Technology took a significant step in strengthening the relationship between industry and academia by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UltraTech Cement.

The ceremony took place at RVS College and included the presence of Suvojit Bose, the Zonal Head of UltraTech Cement, and Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, the College Principal. They exchanged documents to commemorate the occasion.

The event started with a friendly greeting given to the guests by the Principal, who offered a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Shatrughan Singh, who is the treasurer of the institute, graciously presented the guests with a beautiful shawl and a memorable memento.

In his address, Suvojit Bose mentioned that UltraTech Cement has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with around 50 engineering colleges all over India. These include renowned institutions like NITs and IITs, and now RVS College has been added to the list as well.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to strengthen the relationship between industry and academia, providing advantages for both parties involved.

The Civil Engineering Department, along with UltraTech Cement, is planning to start several skill development programs.

We offer a variety of activities to enhance students’ understanding of civil engineering, such as technical seminars, workshops, training programs, conferences, industrial visits, and guest lectures. These opportunities provide valuable exposure to the field and allow students to engage in research and development projects.

Sayal Chakraborty, who is a manager at UltraTech Cement, recently shared his satisfaction with the addition of RVS students Susmita Kumari, Deepak Prasad, and Gudu Kumar Mahato to his team.

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Shri Vidya Bhushan Pandey as the chief guest. Also in attendance were Ratnesh Utpal, the Regional Head, and Dean of College Administration Professor Krishna Murari. The event was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Paswan, the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, along with Dr. Sanatan Prasad, Professor Y.P. Rao, and other esteemed faculty members.

The program ended with Dr. Vikram Sharma, Head of the Placement Department, delivering a vote of thanks.
