Four Arrested in Mango Bridge Firing Case, Police Investigations Continue

Four suspects apprehended by the police in connection with the Mango bridge firing case. Further revelations expected as investigations proceed.

JAMSHEDPUR – The police have arrested four suspects in the firing case that occurred near the bridge in the jurisdiction of Mango police station.

Three weapons that were allegedly used in the incident have also been recovered on the instructions of the suspects.

All the arrested individuals are presently under questioning.

In tandem, the police are executing raids to apprehend other suspects involved in the case.

It is anticipated that the police will disclose more details about the case on Sunday.

SSP Prabhat Kumar has reported that four individuals linked to this case have been arrested, and they are all currently under interrogation.

It’s worth mentioning that on Friday morning, two rival groups of criminals reportedly engaged in a gunfire exchange near the Mango bridge, allegedly over the collection of extortion money from local fish traders.

After the incident, the culprits fled the scene.

The police recovered three shell casings from the location.

An FIR was lodged against unknown persons based on the statement of a local fish trader named Sudev in relation to this incident.
