East Singhbhum District Officials Grilled Over 60 Cases by Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Monitoring Committee

JAMSHEDPUR – The Monitoring Committee of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly convened a crucial meeting on Saturday at the Jamshedpur Circuit House. The session was organized to take reports from all departments on a total of 60 pending cases.
The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the committee, MLA Deepak Birua, and the committee member co-MLA Baijnath Ram. In attendance were the top officers from all departments of the East Singhbhum district.
Among the key issues raised during the meeting were the pollution of the Subarnarekha River, environmental concerns in the Bagbera area, and the construction of bridges in areas affected by extremism.
The meeting also addressed the cases of drinking water supply, a responsibility entrusted to the Jusco Company, which remains unfulfilled. The committee demanded answers on a total of 10 such cases, with reports on all other cases sought from the respective departments.
Chairman and MLA Deepak Birua stated that the reports from all cases would be forwarded to the government for further action.
