Madras High Court Opens Recruitment for 50 District Judge (Entry Level) Posts

Madras High Court District Judge Recruitment 2023: Apply Online at tn.mhc.gov.in

CAREER DESK – The High Court of Judicature at Madras has announced recruitment for 50 District Judge (Entry Level) posts in the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service. Interested candidates are invited to apply online through the official website tn.mhc.gov.in. The last date for online application registration is 31st July 2023.

Madras High Court Recruitment 2023: Eligibility and Salary Details

Candidates should possess a Degree in Law (B.L.) from a recognized university in India and must be enrolled in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu or any other State. Furthermore, applicants should have a minimum of seven years of practice as an advocate as on the date of notification. For Assistant Public Prosecutor-Grade I or Assistant Public Prosecutor Grade-II, applicants must have a minimum of seven years of experience as an Advocate and/or Assistant Public Prosecutor.

The age limit for SC / SC(A) / ST candidates from Tamil Nadu is 35-50 years. For other candidates and those from other States/Union Territories, the age limit is 35-47 years. Persons with Benchmark Disability (SC / SC(A) / ST) should be between 35 to 60 years and 35 to 57 years for those from other categories or other states.

The salary for the post is ₹ 51,550 – 1230 – 58,930 – 1380 – 63,070 + Allowances (Pre-revised).

Madras High Court Recruitment 2023: Selection Process and Application Details

The selection process consists of a Preliminary Examination (Objective Type Paper), a Main Examination, and a Viva Voce Test.

To apply, candidates must register themselves on the Madras High Court official website and provide basic details including name, email ID, and mobile number. Personal information must be filled in the application form, and a photograph, signature, and scanned copies of required documents/certificates must be uploaded.
