PhD Entrance Exam at Women’s University: 90 Attendees, 32 Absentees
Jamshedpur Women’s University successfully conducted its first PhD entrance examination with a turnout of 90 out of 122 students.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Women’s University conducted its first PhD entrance examination on Sunday.
The examination proceeded without any incidents of malpractice and was held in a peaceful manner.
Out of the total 122 students, 90 students attended, whereas 32 students remained absent.
The examination included all 12 subjects offered for research by the University – Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, English, Hindi, Home Science, Music, Odia, Political Science, Urdu and Commerce.
Upon successful completion of the examination, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Anjila Gupta, Registrar Dr. Rajendra Jaiswal, members of the Research Committee, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rama Subramaniam, Center Inspector Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sahu, OSD Dr. Rupali Patra and other members of the Examination Department expressed their congratulations.
