JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy on Thursday held a meeting with key workers of all police station areas regarding the deteriorating law and order situation in Jamshedpur and corruption in police stations at the Assembly office in Baridih.
In the meeting, the divisional presidents of the party told him about the incidents of crime that happened under their divisions, which mainly include theft, snatching, loot, gambling, drug addiction and other serious crimes.
Mandal presidents said that even after informing the police station about the incidents, no concrete action is taken, food supply is done only on the basis of complaint.
MLA Saryu Roy said that the attitude of the police and administrative action in Jamshedpur for the last several days The matter of shortage is coming to the fore, so this meeting had to be called.
It has been seen in Jamshedpur city that the same type of crime happens again and again.
But the police do not act actively in catching the criminals.
Mr. Roy said that gangs involved in theft, snatching, robbery, gambling, drug addiction, illegal sand mining are active in the city.
Crime will not be curbed until the operators of the gang are caught.
Mr. Roy asked the workers to make a list of crime incidents happening in their circle area and unethical activities going on at present and in all cases what action was taken and what was not done by the police to the SSP of Jamshedpur district.
