Jamshedpur Celebrates Guru Hargobindji’s 429th Birth Anniversary

Citizens of Jamshedpur commemorated the 429th Prakash Parv of Guru Hargobindji at Baridih Gurdwara Sahib with reverence and traditional customs.

JAMSHEDPUR – The 429th Prakash Parv of Guru Hargobindji was celebrated with reverence and a traditional manner on Thursday at Baridih Gurdwara Sahib.

On this occasion, Bhai Manpreet Singh’s group performed Kirtan and General Secretary Sukhwinder Singh recounted historical events.

Guru’s Wazir Granthi Baba Niranjan Singh offered prayers for the well-being of all creatures.

To mark Guru Hargobind Ji’s Prakash Parv, a traditional langar of missi roti and onion lassi was prepared, which was gratefully received by the devotees.

The history of Guru Hargobind Ji was also remembered, from the blessing of his birth by Baba Budha ji to his construction of Shri Akal Takht Sahib and the formation of an army.

Sardar Satwinder Singh was honored with a Siropa by Chairman Kartar Singh on behalf of the Sangat. Many contributed to the successful event, including Principal Kulwinder Singh, Deputy President Giani Kuldeep Singh Khushipur, General Secretary Sukhwinder Singh, Cashier Balwinder Singh, and others.
