Sahyog Literary Group’s Silver Jubilee Celebration Remembers Dr. Veena Rani Srivastava

Jamshedpur’s multilingual literary organization Sahyog marks 25 years. The celebration pays tribute to their inspiration, Dr. Veena Rani Srivastava.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sahyog, a multilingual literary organization, is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Over the years, the registered group has fostered local authors writing in various languages, published their works, and provided a platform for numerous female creators.

On 10th June 2023, the executive members of Sahyog convened an important meeting.

The decision was made to dedicate the Silver Jubilee celebration to Dr. Veena Rani Srivastava, the inspiration behind the formation of the organization.

The celebration will take the form of a felicitation ceremony under the joint patronage of the Dr. Veena Rani Srivastava Trust. Sahyog has also organized a national level story writing competition, divided into two categories.

The winners, to be announced on August 1, will receive a cash award of 11,000 rupees each.

Furthermore, two members who contributed significantly to the growth of the organization will be honored.

The event is scheduled for 1st August 2023, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Dr. Veena Rani Srivastava.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Ragini Bhushan and attended by several executive members.
