Bengali-Speaking Alumni Gather for Nostalgic Celebration

The Bengali-speaking students of the 1974 batch of R. D. Tata High School celebrated the 50th anniversary with a grand reunion at the school auditorium on Sunday, with 35 former students and former teachers B.D. Ghosh, SK Biswas, and B.K. Das in attendance.

JAMSHEDPUR – R.D. Tata High School’s Bengali students of 1974 batch held a reunion in Jamshedpur at the School Auditorium on Sunday and refreshed the memories of their olden days.

Gyanendra Malakar, Pradeep Vardhan, Durgadas Sen, Basav Narayan Choudhary, Partha Pratim, Satyabrata Chowdhury, Apoorva Pal, and other distinguished alumni graced the program with their presence, further enriching the celebration of cherished school memories.

Notably, the teachers unveiled the Golden Jubilee Souvenir, marking the special occasion.

The reunion evoked cherished memories through poetry recitations, magical performances, and musical presentations by the ex-students.

Commencing with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and rendition of the nostalgic melody ‘Purono Sei Din Katha…’, the event was graced by Tata-74 Group directors Gyanendra Malakar and Pradeep Vardhan.
