Mukhiya Sammelan in Jamshedpur: Promoting Government’s Public Welfare Schemes
Deputy Commissioner spearheads one-day Mukhiya Sammelan in Jamshedpur. The conference highlights the importance of knowledge sharing for effective public welfare.
JAMSHEDPUR – A one-day Mukhiya Sammelan was held at the District Headquarters Auditorium in Jamshedpur.
The event saw participation from the Deputy Commissioner of the district, Director of NEP, and Mukhiyas from across the district.
The conference was inaugurated by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
The main aim of the event was to share detailed information about various government public welfare schemes, especially those pertinent to rural areas.
Issues concerning the implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) were discussed.
It was noted that certain problems were hampering the effective rollout of the scheme.
Vijaya Jadhav, the Deputy Commissioner of the district, emphasized the importance of thorough understanding of government schemes by the mukhiyas for successful implementation.
“Often due to lack of information, these schemes do not reach the grassroots level,” stated Jadhav.
This conference, therefore, was organized with the objective of bridging this knowledge gap and ensuring maximum benefits reach the villagers, she said.
