Jamshedpur – The Jamshedpur branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hosted a seminar focused on responding to notices under GST and recent developments within the GST framework.

CA Shubham Khaitan, the chief speaker from Kolkata, discussed the increasing strictness in conditions for availing ITC and advised members to be cautious about deficiencies in notices before drafting a response.

Khaitan also highlighted the distinctions between scrutiny, investigation, and audit, emphasizing the importance of tailoring responses according to the nature of the matter.

The event, attended by over 80 city-based CAs, was presided over by CA Kaushalendra Das and featured a welcome speech from Branch President CA Ankita Agarwal.
