Zilla Parishad member Dr Paritosh leads the health initiative for locals, receives all-round kudos
Jamshedpur: A mega health camp was organized at the Zilla Parishad office in Govindpur, Jamshedpur on Friday to mark the World Health Day, where people not only from Govindpur but also from far-flung areas got their physical check-up done.
The camp was led by Zila Parishad member Dr. Paritosh Kumar, who ensured that people received quality healthcare services.
The camp was attended by several doctors, including general practitioners and orthopedics, who examined people’s health problems.
In addition, dentists were also present, providing free dental check-ups to those in need.
The camp also identified cataract patients, who will be operated on free of cost.
During the camp, Dr. Paritosh highlighted the importance of physical check-ups, and encouraged people to prioritize their health.
He emphasized the need for regular health check-ups, especially in the face of the growing prevalence of breast cancer and other chronic diseases.
The camp also provided free investigations for breast cancer, which is becoming a major problem in the region.
Additionally, people with high blood pressure and diabetes were also examined, ensuring that people received the necessary care and treatment.
The mega health camp received an overwhelming response, with people from different areas coming together to avail of the healthcare services.
The initiative was widely appreciated by the locals, who expressed their gratitude towards Dr. Paritosh and the other doctors for their efforts towards promoting good health and wellbeing.
