Adityapur: The restoration and renovation work of the 10 km long road from Gamharia Teachers’ Training Turn to Domuhani has started on Saturday with puja and rituals.
This road falls under Adityapur Municipal Corporation Ward 3.
The start of the restoration work has made the locals quite happy as they have been waiting for the road to be renewed for a long time.
The road restoration would cost Rs. 25 lakh and the road would be constructed with PCC.
The road was in a dilapidated condition causing a lot of problems to the commuters taking that road.
The road restoration work has begun with the help of local councilor Pinky Chowdhary and the efforts of the community.
It is estimated that the road construction work would be finished within 3 to 4 days by the contractors Maa Santoshi Enterprises.
The locals have asked that visitors avoid the route for the next several days in order for the work to be completed smoothly and the quality of the road construction to be maintained.
