AAP demands Rs. 50 lakh compensation to families of bull attack victims

AAP city unit also demands Rs. 5 lakh compensation to injured person, action against owners of stray livestock

Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur unit of Aam Aadmi Party has urged the district administration to pay Rs 50 lakh in compensation to the families of the two people killed in a rogue bull attack near Sheetla Mandir in Sakchi.

The party also demanded Rs 5 lakh for the treatment of the third person who was injured in the bull attack.

A delegation of the party met the DC Vijaya Jadhav on Saturday and submitted a memorandum of demands urging action against the owners of stray cattles roaming on roads.

According to Jitendra Yadav, vice-president of the East Singhbhum Aam Aadmi Party unit, there are a large number of stray animals roaming around in the city, which has led to an increase in daily traffic accidents.

He asked that strong legal action be taken against the owners of stray livestock and urged prompt action to be made to address the problem.
