2 gunmen who attacked Karachi police office identified, claims Pak police
Two extremists who attacked the Karachi Police Office have been identified, claimed the Pakistan police.
On Friday, 4 people including two police officers and Rangers personnel were killed in an attack by extremists on the Karachi Police Office (KPO) located on Shariah Faisal area of Karachi, while 3 gunmen were killed in the retaliatory action of the police and law enforcement agencies. The building was cleared about 4 hours later.
Speaking to news agencies, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) East Muqadas Haider said that 3 gunmen were killed in the attack, one extremist was killed on the fourth floor and 2 were killed on the roof.
He said that one of the dead terrorists blew himself up.
According to news sources, two terrorists who attacked the Karachi Police Office have been identified.
News agencies said that the suicide bomber belonged to North Waziristan while one of the terrorists killed in the encounter was a resident of Lakki Marwat.
