16 killed in landslides in Malaysia

A landslide occurred in Malaysia late at night. At least 16 people were killed in a landslide at a campsite near the country’s capital early this Friday (December 16).

Officials said that more than 50 people have been rescued in this incident, but many people are still missing. Search and rescue personnel are working at the scene.

The landslide occurred on the side of the road near Fathers Organic Farm, an organic farm with camping facilities in Selangor state, on the outskirts of the Southeast Asian country’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.
