Theft in Kandra’s SKG Colony quarter

Jamshedpur : Thieves stole valuables from quarter number B-25 of SKG Colony under the jurisdiction of Kandra police station last night and made good their escape quite easily.

It is learnt that the house owner Kashinath Das family had gone to Telco to celebrate Bhai Dooj two days ago at his sister’s house.

In the meantime, the thieves saw their opportunity and broke into the house and decamped with valuables.

The neighbors informed the home owner and the police. The police reached the site and started investigation into the matter.

On the other hand, the family of Kashinath Das was shocked to learn about the theft and the members too arrived there.

The house owner was shocked to see the the condition of the house.

Kashinath’s wife said that they had taken thirty thousand rupees from the society as a loan, which is missing.

Apart from this, jewelry is also missing. Everything in the house is scattered. It will be clear only after a complete investigation that what else has gone missing.

The neighbors found the almirah, box, briefcase etc. kept in the house open in the morning and all the items were scattered. .

The information was given to the landlord and the police.

The police are investigating the matter.

The residents of the colony are in panic due to the incident of theft inside the colony.
