Administration’s special emphasis on security and safety along with cleanliness, divers will be deployed
Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur district administration is busy in preparations regarding Chhath, an important festival of Bihar and Jharkhand.
On Thursday, the Deputy Commissioner of the district Vijaya Jadhav inspected several river ghats of the city and took stock of the security.
By the way, on Chhath Mahaparva, lakhs of devotees reach both the rivers and various ghats of the city and offer Arghya to Bhagwan Bhaskar. Special importance of cleanliness is laid on river ghats in this puja.
District Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav inspected all river ghats on Thursday.
She said that along with cleanliness, special attention is being paid to safety.
To fill potholes in the paths of river ghat soil and sand are being poured there.
There will also be a security cordon by measuring the water level of the river.
Simultaneously, divers will also be deployed.
She said that due to tight security arrangements the festival will be managed safely.
