Chariot Procession Marks 133rd Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar in Jamshedpur

Dr. Ambedkar SC, ST, OBC, and Minority Welfare Committee Leads Vibrant Celebration, Pays Tribute at Ambedkar Chowk

The streets of Jamshedpur came alive with a vibrant chariot procession on Sunday, as the Dr. Ambedkar SC, ST, OBC, and Minority Welfare Committee commemorated the 133rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

JAMSHEDPUR – The city of Jamshedpur witnessed a spectacular display of unity and reverence on Sunday as a vibrant chariot procession was organized by the Dr. Ambedkar SC, ST, OBC, and Minority Welfare Committee to commemorate the 133rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

The procession, which commenced from the Agrico Signal main roundabout, wound its way through the streets of Jamshedpur, passing through prominent locations such as Bhalubasa Chowk, Kumharpara Baradwari, Ramleela Maidan, and Sakchi Main Roundabout.

The sight of the chariot, adorned with the image of Dr. Ambedkar and accompanied by a sea of enthusiastic participants, served as a powerful reminder of the enduring impact of the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

Under the leadership of Chairman Sonaram Bodra, the procession made its way to its final destination at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Chowk, situated in front of the Old Book Store Chowk.

Here, the participants paid their heartfelt tributes to Dr. Ambedkar by garlanding his statue, a symbolic gesture of respect and gratitude for his immeasurable contributions to the nation.

The event brought together a diverse group of prominent social workers from various backgrounds, who were warmly welcomed and honored with blue-colored scarves upon their arrival.

This gesture not only symbolized the unity and inclusivity fostered by Dr. Ambedkar’s teachings but also highlighted the collective commitment to carrying forward his vision of social justice and equality.

The proceedings of the event were skillfully conducted by General Secretary Ravindra Prasad, who ensured that the program flowed smoothly and that every participant had the opportunity to express their reverence and admiration for Dr. Ambedkar.

Spokesperson Shambhu Mukhi Dungri delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, encapsulating the spirit of the occasion and acknowledging the contributions of all those who had come together to honor the memory of the great leader.

The chariot procession and the subsequent gathering at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Chowk served as a powerful testament to the enduring legacy of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
