South Eastern Railway honors constitutional pioneer Dr. Ambedkar

The South Eastern Railway commemorated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary with a tribute ceremony.

KOLKATA – In a display of deep reverence, the South Eastern Railway Headquarters at Garden Reach celebrated the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

The solemn event was presided over by Anil Kumar Mishra, the General Manager of South Eastern Railway.

Mishra, alongside A.K Dubey, Additional General Manager, and Dr. Mahua Verma, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, led the garlanding of Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait.

This tribute was part of the ceremony that saw participation from senior officers, staff, and various community representatives.

Floral tributes were laid by members of the SC/ST communities and various associations, honoring Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy as the architect of the Indian Constitution.
