Matki Phod competition organized at Sonari

Jamshedpur, Aug 24: A Matki Phod competition was organized at Shiv Kali temple in Panchwati Nagar, Sonari, on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami Utsav under the aegis of New Young Boys Club. It was inaugurated by Kalyan Chandra, a local social worker.

The outfit has been organizing the event here for the last two decades. Safety measures are taken to ensure that the participants are not hurt in the celebration.

Top performing teams are awarded and felicitated by the organizing committee.

Kalyan Chandra praised the organizers for their efforts to preserve the rich Indian culture and heritage.
