Dhanbad Judge death case: brain mapping, narco test soon
Dhanbad: Brain mapping and narco analysis test would be conducted on the two accused of Dhanbad judge Uttam Anand death case. The court has given its approval for this.
The Chief Minister Hemant Soren has already recommended a CBI enquiry into the case.
However, the SIT investigations would continue till the CBI takes over the investigations into its own hands.
The SSP of Dhanbad Sanjiv Kumar said on Tuesday that the police had moved an application in the courts for brain mapping and narco analysis and psychological test on the two accused of the case. The court has given its approval, he said.
He said that a report on the investigations conducted till now has been sent to the Ranchi High Court.
He said that the SIT investigations would continue till CBI investigations start.
Meanwhile, the High Court has expressed unhappiness at the SIT’s status report. The HC was unhappy with the delay in registering an FIR.
The HC asked the CBI to start investigations of the case at the earliest and asked the CBI to ensure speed in the investigations.
The court also asked the state government to extend all help in the CBI investigations and provide records and logistic support.
The High Court has been monitoring the investigations since after it took up the case suo Moto.
The High Court bench held the hearing of the case through video conferencing. The DGP and the Dhanbad SSP too attending the hearing.
Like every day, the deceased Judge had gone on a morning walk on last Wednesday when he was hit by an auto rickshaw. He fell on the road. He died before he could be taken to hospital.
After this an SIT was constituted in this case.
Two days later, CM Hemant Soren also recommended a CBI inquiry into the case.
