Govt urged to bring in Population Control Law

Jamshedpur : A delegation of Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation held a demonstration at the DC Office and demanded enactment of a population control law in the country.

The supporters of population control law and the members of the Foundation rallied from Sakchi Aam Bagan to DC Office and held a demonstration outsidee the DC Office. Later, they also submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren.

Later, the district president of the Foundation, Prem Jha said that World Population Day is going to be celebrated on July 11 all over the world.

He said that the population of India has been growing with exponential place and if it continues in the same manner it won’t be long before the country faces a civil war.

He said that his foundation has been striving to highlight the need to have a population control law for the last 8 years.

However, he said, till date the government has not done much on the pressing issue of population.

He said that on Friday, demonstrations are being held at all DC offices all over the country.

He said that the Foundation is committed to ensure that the country enacts a law to control population growth.

He said that the government should extend all government facilities to only those who have only 2 children.

All government amenities and help should be discontinued if anyone has 3 children. He also proposed that the right to vote be withdrawn if anyone has 4 children prospectively.
